Only one golf course has ever had me raising a club to seriously consider flinging it - a la USA Today golf blogger Larry Olmsted. That one was Montreux Golf & Country Club. Team Wie could scarcely have picked a worse course for Michelle's latest playing-with-the-men sideshow.

Courses should offer high-end rental sets for the corporate outings and swanky weekend getaways. Then they should rent beater sets for $10-$20 for the rest of us; maybe some Excaliburs or knock-off Pings. Most golfers I know wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

Andrew Giuliani is suing Duke because he was cut from the golf team. At first glance, this would seem cause to rip on him for being a baby who's been protected by his father all his life. If you look at some of the details from the lawsuit, however, it sure looks like Duke has another wacky, blowhard coach on its hands.
